About

Fran Boyer

I find my work as a therapist to be deeply rewarding and meaningful. It’s a great privilege to connect with people, to work collaboratively to form an in-depth understanding of the concerns that bring them to therapy, and to find the way forward to a more authentic, connected and fulfilling life.

I have a down-to-earth and open manner whilst being focused and direct in my therapeutic work. I understand the courage required to engage in therapy, and I will welcome all parts of you with presence, warmth and compassion.

One of my favourite things about being a psychologist is learning from, and about, people. I have a strong sense of curiosity and my work inspires me to learn and grow alongside my clients. I am committed to ongoing professional development and I continue to undertake extensive clinical training and supervision to ensure my practice is evidence-based and effective.

I have over a decade of experience working therapeutically with clients across a number of settings, including not-for-profit community organisations, public mental health settings, and in private psychology practice. In addition to my private practice, I work in public mental health as a Senior Clinical Psychologist and a supervisor in an Acute Crisis Intervention Service.

Over the years of my practice, my formal training has been richly interwoven with the lessons and gifts from my experience of connecting with others on their journey through life and healing.
